The Talk of Santa Clarita is a podcast about issues affecting the city of Santa Clarita and the surrounding valley.   Built completely by volunteers, The Talk of Santa Clarita’s mission is to educate, inform and (hopefully) entertain the public. New shows are available every Tuesday and can be found on iTunes, Stitcher and at

The Talk of Santa Clarita does not hold a partisan bias and is willing to dedicate a show to any person of interest. If you have a show idea, please send an email to:

Originally from Kentucky, Stephen moved to Santa Clarita in 1993 to obtain his Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Production at the California Institute of the Arts. He has several years of experience in community radio and has always enjoyed talking with and interviewing people of all types.

“I’m not interested in casual conversations of ‘How do you do?’,” says Stephen. “What interests me is getting to know people in depth, finding out what their thoughts and opinions are, and discovering what makes them tick. That’s what excites me about this podcast, it’s an ideal place to do just that.”

Stephen and his wife, Karen, have a five-year old son, Ryan, as well as a very spoiled dog and cat.
